Abstract
The Combined NTP for South Sulawesi Province in May 2024 was 115.53 or decreased by 1.08 percent compared to the NTP in April 2024 of 116.80.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTPP) was recorded at 100.66; Horticultural Crop Subsector (NTPH) was 138.51; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTPR) was 159.60; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) was 111.65; and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) of 109.60.
In May 2024, four of the five agricultural subsectors experienced a decrease in the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) compared to the previous month, namely the Food Crops Subsector by 3.20 percent; Horticultural Crop Subsector by 3.00 percent; Livestock subsector of 0.65 percent; and the Fisheries Subsector at 0.58 percent. The Community Plantation Crops Subsector was the only one that experienced an increase in the Farmer's Exchange Rate of 3.51 percent.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2024 was 118.96 or down 1.30 percent compared to the previous month.
