BPS Wajo Regency organizes Sectoral Statistics Development activities for Wajo Regency Services/Agencies. Head of BPS Wajo Regency, Ir.H. Rustan, M.Si said in his speech that every statistical activity implementation must comply with the Principles of One Indonesian Data, Data Quality, Statistical Business Processes, Institutions and the National Statistical System. Taking place in the Bappelitbangda Hall Office, this activity was opened by representatives from Acting. The Regent, namely Andi Bataralifu, M.Si., conveyed the importance of developing quality sectoral statistics in Wajo Regency in order to produce accurate data for development planning, monitoring and evaluation.
This sectoral statistical development activity is carried out by BPS as the Statistical Data Supervisor in accordance with the mandate of Law no. 16/1997, PP no. 51/1999 and Presidential Decree no. 39/2019. In the speaker presentation session in this activity, the Head of the Wajo Regency Diskominfo, Drs. Dwi Apryanto, S.H., M.T., M.Si., delivered an evaluation of the implementation of sectoral statistics up to 2023, where Wajo Regency is still considered to be lacking in terms of implementing sectoral statistics.
The coaching material delivered by the Advisory Team from BPS Wajo Regency in this sectoral statistical coaching activity is to encourage the Departments/Agencies to submit Recommendations for Statistical Activities and Data Standards in accordance with the mandate of PP No. 51/1999 to improve the quality of sectoral statistical development in Wajo Regency.
Hopefully this activity will be useful for all of us for the quality of sectoral statistical development in Wajo Regency.
