Susenas Training 2024

Hello #SahabatData, BPS Wajo Regency has carried out training activities for National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) officers integrating the 2024 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) on January 22-30 2024. This training was carried out in two waves with a Hybrid system. Wave I of training, namely Susenas and Seruti Training, was held from 22-24 January 2024 online with Zoom meetings, while wave I of face-to-face training was held on 25 January 2024 at the Sermani Sengkang Hotel. Meanwhile, the second wave of training, namely the Susenas training, will be held from 27-29 January 2024 online and 30 January 2024 face-to-face at the Sermani Sengkang Hotel.

The first batch of training (Susenas and Seruti) was attended by 23 participants consisting of 15 PCLs, 6 PMLs and 1 national instructor who also doubled as a PML. Meanwhile, Wave II Training (Susenas) was attended by 32 participants consisting of 20 PCLs, 12 PMLs and 2 national instructors who also doubled as PMLs. The aim of collecting Susenas data is to provide data on household welfare including, among other things, education, health and purchasing power. Susenas data is widely used by various groups, both government and outside the government. Meanwhile, indicators produced from Susenas data include Macro Development Target Indicators, RPJMN Indicators and SDG's Indicators. Three of the 11 macro development targets for 2020-2024 were calculated using Susenas data.
